A biorhythm compatibility reading is a measure of how closely different biorhythm patterns fit with those of another person. (Usually a current or potential partner).
You usually get compatibility tests for the three main areas: physical, emotional, and intellectual biorhythm and often an overall composition of all three.
Occasionally, you will also find compatibility tests on other types of websites, dating websites. (most commonly relationship types).
Watch the shocking video: The man who predicted Michael Jackson’s death through biorhythms…
It’s generally not clear if these compatibility results are most often based on biorhythm matching tests. There’s absolutely no problem with this; however, knowing if they really measure how compatible you are with someone else would be ideal.
Again, biorhythm compatibility readings are often divided into three categories: physical, emotional, and intellectual. It’s based on calculating the difference between two biorhythm curves.
What you measure is the phase difference between curves. This provides the percentages between 0 and 100%, with 0 being totally incompatible and 100% being totally compatible.
Most likely, you already know what a biorhythm curve looks like (if you don’t go and get one now, it will take a few seconds). So imagine two curves of the same type drawn on the same graph.
The difference is the gap between the curves where each crosses the zero line for the first time in the same direction: no gap means that the curves are 100% identical, while a gap that is half the length of a cycle means that the curves are 0% identical.
Biorhythm compatibility vs “opposites attract”
My problem with this compatibility test is the old saying, opposites attract. It’s certainly too simplistic to calculate compatibility this way, as relationships are more complex than this, or are they not?
Have you ever been in an intensely physical relationship where you felt you lacked depth on an emotional or intellectual level? Physical biorhythms may have been very similar, but the other two are not.
I think it’s complicated to come to any meaningful conclusion about whether or not biorhythm compatibility works, so it’s best to leave it to the observation of past relationships.
I’ve personally performed biorhythm compatibility tests on the few people I have enjoyed a relationship with and, since my observation, they have all achieved a minimum of 65% overall compatibility.

Further analysis of the three biorhythm readings of physical, emotional, and intellectual have been surprisingly accurate in my recollection of these individuals’ relationships.
Of course, the nature of these observations is just that, observations rather than scientific measurements.
Spring is a period of intense activity, renewed excitement and goals; Simply put, of change.
Our personal biorhythm curves allow us to understand when our energy is at its peak (active phase), when it’s in deficit (passive phase), or a critical phase when we have to take things easy and act cautiously.
So anyway, what are biorhythms, and what else can they do for us?
Biorhythms define the rhythms of life, a flow of movement measured by a sequential reference pattern. From the most basic functions to the complex life experiences, everything has its beat, its cadence.
From life to death, breathing, the way our blood flows, our heartbeat, sleeping, walking, eating, or talking, everything is done rhythmically.
Rhythm is intimately linked to nutrition and the production of everything we do according to pattern repetitions.
“Biorhythm compatibility tests are available on most biorhythm websites.”
The perception of fast and slow rhythm is related to our biological nature and the average heart rate, between 60 and 80 beats per minute.
Rhythms in nature
Life is intrinsically related to geophysical nature phenomena, such as tides, solar days, lunar months, climate, and season changes. We’re influenced by all the basic elements that make up nature: fire, water, air, and earth.
Hence, the importance of living according to the rhythm of nature is that we’ll live in a much more balanced way by flowing with it.
The cycle of biorhythms
Biorhythms are rhythms of life that measure our physical, emotional, and mental response to the sequence of events.
These cycles, which affect our experiences’ physical, emotional, and intellectual aspects, are related to our reactions to stimuli. A sine wave calculates biorhythms from the day we are born. Each biorhythmic period has a different duration.
The scientific discovery of biorhythms at the beginning of the 20th century was the result of a research carried out by two German doctors: Wilheim Fliess and Hermann Swoboda, who curiously lived 300 km away from each other, and who neither knew nor were aware that they were simultaneously focused on the same research.
Each had his own specialty, Fliess was an “airways” expert, and Swoboda was a psychology professor.
They observed a very similar physical, psychic, and mental behavior in their patients every certain period of time that they started to compel.
Coincidentally, both measured these frequencies and found that they responded to a certain pattern of 23 days for physical rhythm, 28 days for emotional rhythm, and 33 days for mental or intellectual activity.
Each person went through periods of highs and lows and crises during the active, passive, and critical phases.
According to these characters, life is influenced not only by external or internal events but is also subject to the rhythms of nature, which makes us more or less sensitive, strong, loving, active, etc.
Many other works were derived from their study and applied, for example: to different fields of behavioral science and sports. Elite sportsmen and women are controlled biorhythmically to establish certain coordinates concerning their records.
Another researcher into the human mind and behavior, Dr. and psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich, also referred to the individual’s more or less healthy phases. However, he did not specifically refer to biorhythms. Still, he made it clear that “not all human beings are capable of assuming the same amount of energy” and that there were deficits or surpluses.
Biorhythms are much more than mere speculation about a human being’s physical, emotional, or mental state.
“They’re a yardstick by which you can be guided and obtain optimal results in all your life activities.” Effective results of biorhythmic control have been proven for a long time, not only in sports medicine but also in studies about sexuality, the highs, and lows of love, or work performance.
Take as an example the fascinating findings of Dr. Franz Halbergh, professor and founder of chronobiological medicine at the University of Minnesota, which confirmed that synchronizing chemotherapy or drug administration by adjusting to the patient’s biorhythms manages to reduce failures and obtain better therapeutic results.
Therefore, the study of life cycles has a great impact on cell behavior. Living in harmony with nature and natural rhythms helps to defeat entropy, that is, the disorganization that affects us both physically, mentally, and emotionally, and delay aging.
Each biorhythmic cycle (physical, emotional, and mental) is divided into 3 stages: passive/low, active/high, and critical.
- The Physical cycle is every 23 days
- The emotional cycle is every 28 days
- The Mental or Intellectual cycle is every 33 days
Each phase has its function and informs us about the vital conditions in which it’s found. (our organism, emotional state, and mental or cerebral aptitudes).
- The physical biorhythms are those related to the body’s vitality, the most spontaneous impulse, health, strength, and physical dexterity
- Emotional biorhythms refer to our emotional state and vitality, feelings that vary according to our moods. In the high phase, we are more cheerful, in the low phase more apathetic, the critical phase is the most prone to arguments
- The mental biorhythms refer to our psychological state, how our mind is doing, more receptive, alert, more focused, etc. For studying, the high phase is better. The critical phase can induce us into error
The physical cycle is 23 days long and governs all activities in which the organism, the body, and external personality are revealed.
It’s the most tonic cycle of the three, as it largely determines resistance, agility, passivity, or activity when facing daily situations or commitments. It will also determine the body’s response to physical exhaustion or illness.
During positive periods, there is an abundance of energy, more fuel. More stamina and strength for overcoming challenges.
You must take advantage of these periods to invigorate the will, to carry out those “feats” with which you must “take risks” throughout the day. Use this phase to catch up with the hardest and least rewarding work, those tasks that you tend to put aside.
These are good times to clean up your house or office, rearrange things, fight laziness and illness, and do physical exercise without excessive wear and tear.
During the positive cycle, you have to get going, but without forcing the machine too much. It’s not about getting exhausted.
During negative periods, the body is recharging batteries, storing fuel. The more work you do in the previous cycle, the more you must accumulate and save energy when the critical days come.
This is not a good time to run a marathon, nor to burden yourself with excessive responsibilities, but to plan activities and slow down.
A downward curve of the biorhythm indicates that you are more receptive, and therefore, more vulnerable.
The organism is preparing for a change, which seems imperceptible and generates a whole series of internal biochemical processes that must be respected.
In critical periods, the body and the organism are somewhat unbalanced. You feel unstable, clumsy, with little desire to move. This is the time of greatest “hazards” for the locomotive system since insecurity is the most relevant trend in this biorhythm phase.
It is best to relax and practice meditation to affect as little as possible and mitigate its effects. Cases of nervous collapse and coronary disease are most likely to occur during these more conflictive periods. You have to give yourself a break.
The emotional cycle is 28 days long, and it records fluctuations that the emotional temperament undergoes. Emotions are one of our most difficult subjects. Relationships with our immediate environment, our partners, friends, family, etc., depend on them.
It’s been shown that no matter how optimal the physical biorhythm curve is, if the emotional cycle doesn’t accompany it, it will tarnish the expectations’ positive results.
It is therefore of vital importance to try and harmonize these tendencies, in order to achieve greater control over the circumstances.
In these phases, when so much importance is given to “emotional intelligence,” the answer to many of our problems lies in a correct emotional education to make the most of our own resources.
Mental cycle (brain)
This cycle called the mental / brain is the longest of all, with 33 days. Through its ascending and descending phases, we can establish the constants of our intellectual capacity, our attitude to challenge, and the practical response to a given problem.
We know that human beings use ten percent of their brain capacity, so we under-utilize it.
To alleviate this disadvantage, we can partly resort to our biorhythm curve and try to make the most of our mental potential, finding out which days are the most beneficial for us.
During positive periods, the mind is clearer, more agile, and awake. It’s the best time to project ideas, intellectual work, study, and planning of work issues.
Furthermore, it’s an ideal period for making decisions and putting thoughts in order. Logic and reason are in their stage of mastery. Cultivate the more spiritual parts because the mind will be open and creative. Communication is more fluid.
In the negative periods, it is necessary to reflect, evaluate the achievements and objectives fulfilled, and be fulfilled. There may be a tendency to be more indecisive, not make things properly, think about many things at once, and doubt your own decisions.
This is a stage in which the rational mind captures a great deal of information that must be processed: dispersion and lack of concentration. You have to try to harmonize your thoughts to make the most of your mental capacity.
In critical periods, you must make an effort not to mix the rational mind with the emotions. Beware of interpretation errors, making risky judgments without proper guidance.
It’s better to avoid legal proceedings or sterile discussions because these arguments will fall apart, and you’ll only end up getting headaches.
These are times when the mind must work in silence, preparing itself to face the next cycle successfully.
Calculating your biorhythms
To figure out your biorhythms you must calculate the days lived since birth up until the date you want to know your biorhythmic state. Consider leap years which are counted as 1 more day.
For physical biorhythm, which is 23 days long, divide the days lived by 23. For example, if it has been 409,397. Take the whole amount (without the dot) and do the following operation to know the days you have been in the biorhythmic cycle: 409 X 23 = 9,407 which, subtracted from the number of days lived, ( 9,415 – 9,407 = 8) indicates that you have been 8 days in the new cycle of your physical biorhythm.
To calculate the emotional one, you’ll do the same operation, but dividing and multiplying by 28: 9.415: 28 = 336 multiplied by 28 will give 9.408, subtracting 9.415 (days lived) – 9.408 = 7 days in the emotional cycle.
For brain cycle, proceed in the same way, but with 33.
9.415 : 33 = 285 X 33 = 9.405 – 9.415 = 10 days in the brain cycle.
