Who was the creator of reiki?
Mikao Usui, the teacher or sensei, was born on August 15, 1865, in Taniai, which currently corresponds to Miyamacho, Japan.
After a spiritual retreat on a hill, Usui managed to feel a healing ability. Upon returning home, he used that gift to heal his wife, as the story goes that she was very ill.
From that moment it is said that it is also curative.
Usui did not want to keep her gift only for her family’s interior but decided that it should be accessible to everyone.
For this reason, in 1922, the teacher opened his first clinic in Tokyo, where he implemented reiki, and there were open seminars for all those who wanted to participate.
What is reiki treatment?

With a blank mind, try to follow the breathing and the heartbeat. Very slowly, as if your body weighed heavily on you, so much so that you couldn’t move.
